Starting at the Bicentennial Tree, an old bushfire lookout, the 10.5 kilometre Warren River Loop Walk wanders down through tall karri forest to the meandering Warren River, where you can enjoy a swim before heading up to the Warren lookout for superb views into the valley.

What to Pack

Group B items required.

  • Minimum 2 litres of water per person per day
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Sun hat or bike helmet (compulsory in WA)
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen (30+) and insect repellant
  • Binoculars and camera (optional)
  • Map or guide book where suggested
  • Snacks and/or lunch depending on length of trail
  • Clothes to suit the activity and potential weather conditions including a water/windproof jacket
  • Spray bottle of methylated spirits to spray boots and tyres in disease risk areas
  • First Aid kit

Hazards

Beware of submerged logs when swimming in the Warren River, Avoid walking under trees on windy days
