Syd’s Rapids & Aboriginal Heritage Trail

The Syd’s Rapids and Aboriginal Heritage walk trails are located where the Walyunga National Park joins the Swan River, 40 kilometres north east of Perth. These family friendly trails provide interpretation on the indigenous history, plants and animals and the history of white water rafting in this beautiful location.

Time and/or Distance
3 hours. Distance is 6.4km return (two trails combined)
Access to the Trail
Road. National Park is open daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm

March to November

Group A items required.
- Full large water bottle per person.
- Sturdy shoes
- Sun hat or bike helmet (compulsory in WA)
- Sunglasses, sunscreen (30+) and insect repellant
- Clothes to suit the activity and potential weather conditions
- Binoculars and camera (optional)
