Time depends on length and section of trail chosen. Distance is 7.4km one way or 14.8km return. Multiple access points, trail can be walked in smaller sections.

What to Pack

Trail map is included in the 'Cape to Cape' guidebook available from the visitor centre
Group B items required.

  • Minimum 2 litres of water per person per day
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Sun hat or bike helmet (compulsory in WA)
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen (30+) and insect repellant
  • Binoculars and camera (optional)
  • Map or guide book where suggested
  • Snacks and/or lunch depending on length of trail
  • Clothes to suit the activity and potential weather conditions including a water/windproof jacket
  • Spray bottle of methylated spirits to spray boots and tyres in disease risk areas
  • First Aid kit

Hazards

Sections of trail with steep cliffs and unpatrolled beaches. Beware of snakes in summer – December to February
